My global mountain adventures have become the bedrock for international reporting and visual storytelling in conflict affected countries, with a focus on humanitarian, political and social issues. STORY shares my independent documentary film work and highlights from my reporting, with the goal of advancing conversation; to educate, raise consciousness and create humanitarian impact.

UKRAINE UNDER FIRE | A Film About War & Resilience world-premiered in Washington, D.C. on February 24, 2025, marking Russia’s dark three-year anniversary all-out invasion of Ukraine. The film has since had a proud international film festival run—earning 25 film festival awards, making it’s European premiere at the Ferrara Film Festival in Italy. UKRAINE UNDER FIRE was also honored with a 2026 Heartland Emmy Award for Documentary and is streaming on PBS.org.
